How do I extract frames from a video?

Choose a supported local video, select an automatic interval or use Manual capture, then download individual JPGs or the complete ZIP.

Does the extractor upload my original video?

No. Extraction uses your browser’s video and canvas capabilities. Normal page analytics may still record coarse interactions, but the filename and media content are not included in those events.

Which video formats work?

The file picker accepts MP4 and WebM. Actual playback depends on the codecs supported by your browser and device, so some files with those extensions may still fail to decode.

Is the selected frame exact?

The timestamp follows the position reported by your browser. Browser seeking can land near a video keyframe, so this is not a professional frame-accurate editor.

Why is there a batch limit?

Extracted JPGs remain in browser memory until you replace the video or leave the page. The limit keeps the tool responsive, especially on mobile devices.
